It's a good thing that the Uncanny Valley effect doesn't seem as strong in media that are deliberately presented in a less realistic way, because Potemayo and Guchuko would be a bit disturbing looking in live action or realistic CGI, even if their particular balance of human and "living stuffed toy" characteristics is cute in a universe where everyone is a bit cartoony.
